Vatterott College is a vocational school with campuses all over the Midwest. With over a dozen campuses in seven states, they offer a number of trade programs. While these programs span many industries, Vatterott is one of the better known automotive mechanic schools in the US. With experienced instructors and real-world learning environments, Vatterott prepares future mechanics to start their career as soon as they graduate. All of Vatterott’s schools are accredited through the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and offer financial aid options for students in need.

Grants

Vatterott College offers a number of scholarships and grants to help you finance your education. See if you qualify for any financial aid.

  • Federal Pell Grant – Award varies based upon the cost of attendance, enrollment status, the expected family contribution, and the amount of money appropriated by Congress to fund the program.
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant – Awards students with the greatest financial need.  Recipients must also be eligible for a Pell Grant to be eligible.  The U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid determines to whom and how much it will award based on federal guidelines.
  • High School Graduate Scholarship – Awards students in the amount of $1,000.
  • Presidential Achievement Scholarship – Awards students in the amount of $2,000.
  • Academic Revitalization Scholarship – Awards students in the amount of $2,000.
  • Veterans’ Education Benefits – Veterans’ Affairs may pay monthly educational allowances to qualified students to help defray the cost of living expenses while attending a college. For further information, contact the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the State Approving Agency, or a Financial Aid Administrator at the Institution.
  • Post 9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program – This program is designed to help pay the remaining Tuition & Fees costs for an eligible student that has reached the annual (Aug 1 – July 31) maximum Tuition & Fees payable by VA at the 100% rate. The remaining amount is covered by VA and the Institution, up to a specified amount as outlined in the Yellow Ribbon Program agreement. Check with the Office of Financial Aid for more information.
